On June 17, 2010 my niece, Lindsey lost her husband, Tyson Larson in a tragic explosion. They were to have celebrated their year anniversary on August 1. My family attended their magical wedding last year and I can honestly say, I have never attended a wedding so beautiful and so filled with love. Their devotion to each other was like nothing I have ever seen. I am so grateful to have been there, as it reconnected my family and it was truly a blessing. It was the first time I met Tyson, and in that one meeting, I could tell he was a very special person.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of this young man and the impact he has had on so many lives, mine included. I think of the beautiful young bride he left behind, the mother and father who have lost their precious son, the big brother and sister whose hearts ache and the numerous family and friends whose lives changed instantly at the loss of this young man.
Life is short...Love is sweet...Never take for granted the people in our lives and treasure every moment we have. God is Good!
Rest in Peace Dear Tyson.
