Little Leah with Her Wonderful Grandparents!

This was kind of a sad and wonderful photo shoot all at once. Jerry and Jackie the grandparents of this adorable little girl have been taking care of little Leah since she was 3 months old. Her parents ran into some trouble and they couldn't take care of their little doll for awhile. These lovely people stepped in and took care of her and the day of the photo shoot was the day they were leaving to Virginia to return this precious doll to her parents...a bittersweet day.

Happy 2nd Birthday Finnigan!

I had the cutest little boy to photograph recently. His name is Finnigan, (don't you just love that name?) and he just turned 2 years old. The images are taken in my back yard and we had a blast doing the session. His folks, Jonathon and Meghan are the nicest couple. Meghan is such a tender and loving mother and she and Finn had the warmest bond. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them!

The Jazz Splash- Juneteenth Celebration at Arcosanti

For Father's Day weekend I was asked to photograph the annual Juneteenth- Jazz Splash festival at Arcosanti. There were so many talented musicians there. It was a very cool experience...Here are a few shots taken that day...

Prescott Valley Days 2011

Summer time means the annual Prescott Valley Days takes place. The carnival is in full swing, Prescott Valley Idol competition is searching for a winner, the parade, tractor pull and this year after a long absence is the hot air balloons. My sister was in town and we headed to the carnival to photograph a friend in the Idol competition and get that ferris wheel "shot".

Summer is Here!

I am finally catching up on my blogging, and my goodness, summer has certainly arrived! It's hot!
I had a senior session with AJ, a terrific kid who will be a senior this year at Prescott High. We met out at Watson Lake in the late afternoon, Watson Lake is such a beautiful setting with the boulders and the lake and the grass. Here are a few shots we captured....

My daughter and I had a great time photographing an awesome young man the other day. Tyler is graduating from Prescott High this month and then off to college in Idaho.
