This past Saturday I dropped by the Courthouse Square to check out the Art Show. It was a cool day with a few showers. The vendors had many beautiful items for sale. I especially like the HDR Photography Booths and I am looking forward to learning that soon! Here are a few images from that beautiful day.

A New Pony!
I recently purchased the cutest little interactive pony to use as a photo prop for children. Meet Butterscotch! Avery and his mom dropped by for a visit and I had to get Avery on Butterscotch for a photo.

The Obsession Continues- Downtown Prescott, Az.
Today I went to downtown Prescott to continue the obsession I am having with architectural letters that I photograph. Summer in Prescott is always nice. Not toooo hot in the Summer, ok, it gets hot, but NOT Phoenix hot. That is why all the Phoenicians come up the hill in the summer to vacation even for a couple of days. I made it a working day, so I didn't stop into any of the bars to indulge, and I hate drinking alone :) I found the images for the Prescott Collage above in the Courthouse Square area. Can you guess where?
Always loved this statue.

Always on the Lookout
obsessed....
I have a new addiction, thanks to my niece, Lindsey. On her blog, she wrote that in her photography class, the instructor gave them the assignment to find letters of the alphabet in the shapes of common things around us. What a great way to be observant of all your surroundings and in turn get great shots you wouldn't otherwise think about. Soooo...I have been looking all around and through the images I shot around the country during our RV road trip. It was nice to look back at all the places we had been, and looking for letters in each one of them, I found things about the images I didn't know before hand. Very cool.
Many of the letters come from all over the country. The C is from the Grand Ole Opry Museum in Tennessee. The A windmill is taken at Judge Roy Beans place in Texas. The Y is from a porch in the quaint town of Winterset, Iowa ,where "The Bridges of Madison County" was filmed.
We happened onto Winterset by accident. I was cruising down the highway and saw the sign that read "Bridges of Madison County" next right. I was so there...We went to the Rosemond Bridge where an important part of the story takes place. We rented the movie and bundled up in the motorhome watching the film and hearing raindrops on the roof.
This 11x14 print is available for purchase on my website pawsandposes.com. It is printed on Kodak Professional Metallic Paper. The finish has a beautiful sheen to it and almost looks 3 dimensional.
Wait...Do I see E's and H's and......
